🌍 Welcome to Globetrotwith Arabic!

Ahla w Sahla! أهلا وسهلا 👋

(That's how we warmly say "welcome" in Lebanese Arabic!)

I'm Chaghig, the founder and teacher behind Globetrot with Arabic. I created Globetrot with Arabic to help people around the world learn real Lebanese Arabic in a way that's practical, enjoyable and flexible. Whether you're learning for yourself, helping your child discover Lebanese Arabic, speaking with family or someone you love, reconnecting with your Lebanese roots, preparing for a trip, or simply because you love Lebanon and its culture, you've come to the right place. Wherever you are in the world, you can learn at your own pace. All you need is curiosity, an internet connection, and the motivation to begin!

💛 Meet me, Chaghig

I'm proudly Lebanese, and no matter where life takes me, Lebanon will always have a special place in my heart. Before founding Globetrot with Arabic, I taught Arabic in London, working with professionals, diplomats and university students. I hold a PhD in Language, Discourse & Communication from King's College London, two Master's degrees in Translation and Intercultural Communication, and a CELTA teaching qualification. Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching learners from all over the world. Some are learning to communicate with family or loved ones, others are reconnecting with their Lebanese heritage, preparing for a trip, or simply falling in love with Lebanon's language and culture. Being part of those journeys is one of the greatest joys of what I do.

👩🏻‍🏫 My teaching approach

I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it. My lessons focus on real-life conversations, building confidence, and making Lebanese Arabic enjoyable from the very beginning. You'll make mistakes, and that's completely normal! I'll help you learn from them while introducing you to the language, culture and everyday life of Lebanon. Because learning Arabic is about so much more than vocabulary and grammar. It's about connecting with people, understanding the culture, and feeling confident enough to use the language in real life.

Ready to begin?

Whether you're learning your very first Lebanese phrase or building on what you already know, I'd love to be part of your Arabic learning journey.

Yalla, let's get started!

With Lebanese love,

Chaghig 💛
